Saundra Rhoden BACP COSRT
I am a Psychosexual Counsellor at the Sexual Health Clinic at Croydon University hospital, NHS Trust. I am a trained Gestalt Counsellor, with years of prior experience as a Social Worker within adult mental health and disabilities teams. This lead me to work in a variety of culturally diverse settings within the voluntary and public sector.
My psychosexual training is with Tavistock Relationships, where I have developed a good understanding of a variety of presentations around sexual functioning, and continue to learn about how these factors impact people in different ways.
Outside of my clinical work, I run a private practice www.therapyinprogress.co.uk where I provide short and long term therapy to individuals and couples. I work with a range of emotional health difficulties and I have particular interest in sex and relationships, disordered eating and trauma based interventions.
